My site was recently moved to a different (faster!) server by my host, A Small Orange. Unfortunately the move broke the site, which I was slow to notice, being on vacation. Anyway, it all should be working now. I need to come up with a unit testing system for this site…

Finally, some new content! I’ve posted an explanation of how to get OpenAFS working with the Rose-Hulman AFS cell. It should still be relevant to anyone trying to get OpenAFS working under Ubuntu, though—I certainly had quite a time of it.

I just pushed out LPLFixup 12. This release fixes a serious bug where the script would fail if PIN or password had been saved.

This site is now totally Django-based! I'm now using Pygments for syntax highlighting—goodbye, buggy, incomplete JavaScript highlighter. Consider yourself abandoned. Next up: a new design for the site. I'm feeling minimalistic….

Amazon Large Images has been updated to cope with a minor change in Amazon's URLs for user-contribuited images. I have also done testing on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, and amazon.co.jp.

LPLFixup now will automatically fill and submit the "Remote Patron Authentication" form. Some minor aesthetic improvements have also been made.

I noticed that I had failed to include the "www" subdomains of the Library's site in LPLFixup's @include rules. Version 9 updates the flaw, and should stop the script from mysteriously ceasing to work when you click on the header image in the card catalog.

I have just released version 7 of LPLFixup. The major new feature is session maintenance, which automatically makes requests to the card catalog every few minutes so that your session never expires (loosing your search history, etc.). (If you're wondering about the version number jump: I released versions 5 and 6 on the first, but forgot to update this page.)
